What do I need to know?

Requirements for Hire on the day

• You must have your Driving licence. (electronic copies will not be accepted)
• Proof of address (e.g. bank statement or utility bill). Your address must match the address on your licence.

Other information

• Drivers must be aged 21 or over.
• Must have held a valid licence for at least 2 years.
• Additional drivers will be charged at £5 per day up to a maximum of £50 for up to 30 days
• Licence Information "View and share your driving Licence" – You will need to bring either a printout of your driving licence information or the generated code. This can be completed up to 21 days prior to the end of your hire. Click here for more information.
• Mileage Limit: Customers may incur additional charges if they exceed the maximum mileage allowance.
• Cleaning Fee: If the hire vehicle is returned in a condition deemed unhygienic, the named driver may be charged a cleaning fee to cover the cost of professional sanitation.
• Administration Charge: A fee of £15.00 will be applied for processing each penalty charge received, including but not limited to:
  PCNs/ Parking charge notifications/ Speeding offences/ Toll Charges/ Dart Charge /Emission zone fines /Bus lane violation / Congestion charges
• A Deposit is required for any Hirer who does not reside local to the Braintree Area.
